The clever collection of excellent human achievements and results are now resided in a museum building that rivals its contents.  The Peoria Riverfront Museum facility serves as a tangible as a tangible display of world class quality.

It was a very detailed project, much more than normal.  For example, the theater walls are eighty feet of concrete and the planetarium is an elliptical shape.  There are also elaborate mechanical and technical systems installed throughout the facility.

Not only does the Peoria Riverfront Museum offer a broad scope for a museum, the skilled members of the union building trades installed solar panels, recycled flooring, and many other materials and processes to ensure an the facility was an environmentally modern facility, which earned a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification.  For example, the water and drainage system flow not into the sanitary district, but rather to a bioswell system.  The runoff from the roof go back into the ground.
